This video, via Geeljasjes, is a homage & demo to the mighty Yamaha TX816 FM monster synth.

The Yamaha TX816, from 1985, basically packs 8 DX-7 synth engines into one rack-mounted module. You can use it as 8 individual synths or, as in this demo, stack the voices to create thick chorused sounds.

Money-saving tip – buy ears like mine, and you'll only need three DX7s. After that, you'll not hear any difference.
